A must when visiting Montgomery. It's not fancy but it has a great history and good for a cheap bite to eat.

To get a good tasty deal and enjoy their tradition of both worlds, order their hotdog/burger combo. You get one of each along with very good fries and a medium drink for $8. Try their chili sauce .

Classic downtown Montgomery stop. Order a 1&1 (one hotdog and one burger ) and decide which is best... also, the crinkle-cuts are french fry perfection!

Had the hotdog and hamburger all the way and loved them both!! 100 years and still outstanding!!

Don't let the less than stellar atmosphere deter you. This place is DELICIOUS and cheap , with excellent service. Definitely worth a stop by.

Hot dog , mustard , onions , sour kraut , and Chris's special sauce . (Chili and pepper ). Delicious but I have a feeling my students are going to hate me this afternoon.

Loved the atmosphere. The chili is not like regular chili , it's kinda like BBQ sauce , but it's good!! I would go back again in a heart beat.

"Chili " is closer to a Carolina BBQ . Tangy and spicy . No meat. Just sauce. Really good though. Cheeseburger is great!
