Check out the tiny Church of Aghios Nikolaos right by the hotel entrance (it's in the grounds of the hotel next door). It's about 1500 years old and the town of Aghios Nikolaos is named after it!
Great food, wonderful service. On a large site, so there's a good feeling of space and there are plenty of places to sit out in the sun!
Lovely hotel , incredible views . Staff a friendly and the place is very welcoming to children, but without losing its sophisticated feel.
Rent a little boat from the hotel 's Watersports Centre and sail around the bay to Elounda and to the island of Spinalonga - no licence required!
The spa is absolutely wonderful and well worth a visit.

Nice domain and the restaurant has a very nice view on the sea. The rooms are clean but no soundproofing. You can hear everything, even the next door shower. The food isn’t great or vegetarian proof - Charlotte Van den Broeck
