The surf spot ! Just 5-6 hours away from Manila. You will love the waves , so get ready to master the board. Added to my sweet escape. But wait, there's more .. Baler is great for an outdoor adventure.

Best surfing spot for beginners . Not that I was able to surf flawlessly. Semplang mode! But the beach is great, best if you just want to getaway from the busy city life and it's budget friendly .

You can try food from beachfront restaurants but for some cheaper options, try eating at the rolling stores in Baler proper, near the plaza , as well as Trenchers near Museo de Baler.

Weather is unpredictable. It can a bit rainy sometimes so prepare to get wet #what. Haha. But seriously. It can be both sunny, cloudy and rainy and the sunny again all in one morning.

Get here on September. Locals say that's the time the waves are higher. Best place to surf is fronting the akkaw beach inn .

An awesome place to surf , but also challenging--the waves can get pretty rough. Watching sunrise is awesome because this area faces east!

Best to surf in the morning. It gets very crowded in the late afternoon! Very accommodating instructors at Baler Surf :)

Unpredictable weather i must say! But surfing while raining? It was awesome! Countless overhead waves for great drops!

Always book @ pacific waves for affordable and sulit accomodation..all rooms are air conditioned ,w/ hot&cold shower and free wifi access...

The seabed is good for beginner's surf . Better surf getaway than La Union or Zambales.
