Excellent quality Syrian cuisine and friendly atmosphere
If a slightly more sophisticated version of Syrian cuisine than what you'd get on Sonnenallee is what you're after, this is the place. The fatteh was the standout dish for me
Great place, down to earth food, which you can enjoy with the priest sitting next to you. Place is part of the church next door.

Hier gibt es köstliche syrische Küche und man unterstützt Flüchtlinge, die hier arbeiten. Empfehlen kann ich die Vorspeisenplatte (Hummus , Babaganoush, Bohnen , Spinat ) und die gegrillte Artischocken .
Ein paar Meter abseits des Mehringdamms und schon fast ein Geheimtipp. Mittagsmenü für unter zehn Euro (Hauptspeise, Desser t und Espresso ). Etwas ausgefallenere Karte . Angenehm ruhig und uneitel.
Unfreundliche Bedienung, lange Wartezeiten. Und das für nur einen Kaffee .

The shawarma here is so perfect. Everything is in service of the chicken—the tangy crunchy pickles, flavoursome garlic sauce and moist fat soaked bread… a €3 Michelin recommendation waiting to happen! - A.
