Despite the other comment here, my English audio guide worked perfectly. In any case, you can always go back & exchange it at the entrance (shouldnt take longer than 5 min from any place of the expo)
Layout is well designed & easy to follow. The collection is limited in geographic representation though: largely Teutonic (with French impressionists). Modern collection more diverse but still western
The new part is a must see. If you find the Museum 's shop, great little gifts .
It is absolutely amazing that you can see important works of art of the last 600 years here for the price of a lunch . It really boggles the mind.
Good collection from the 15th century to modern works. They provide chairs to use in the museum , which is nice as it's not a small place.
It’s huge! Three buildings, many floors. Plan on spending at least half a day here. Use your Basel Card for 50% discount .

Das neue Kunstmuseum ????. Die Architektur einfach wunderschön. Ausstellungen die keinen Platz im alten Museum hatten findet man hier ebenso sind immer Sonderausstellungen vorhanden.
Хороший художествнный музей с отличной коллекцией . В дополнение к ней есть выставки . Так в настоящий момент идёт выстпвка Мондриана. Более 20 работ в фирменном позднем стиле. Сходите, не пожалеете.

Beautiful museum located in lovely settings. Easy to reach by public transports and always hosts interesting exhibitions. - David Roessli
Offshoot of the main kunstmuseum. Not particularly interesting, especially if you're not into modern art. It's also 5 mins walk away from the 2 main buildings so it requires extra effort to visit. - Gabriel Seah
I have been here recently for a vernissage with concert. Unique atmosphere! Nice architecture with great Rhine view, which hosts unique sculptures of the artist Tinguely. A must see in Basel. - Cristina Mazza
