The Macau Maritime Museum , built on the original site of arrival by the Portuguese, features exhibits focused on traditional boats and fishing , and an outdoor terrace with views of the busy harbor .

At the Maritime Museum , visitors can learn about the maritime history of China and Portugal as well as marine technology and transportation. The hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (closed on Tuesdays).

The collections at Museu Maritimo focus on the Portuguese coast and the influence of fishing on the culture of those living on the coast.
