Beautiful beach . Very fun to spend the day here and experience a different atmosphere.

The 4x4 beach , the northern most tip of the outer Banks , there is 13 miles of beach rentals, must have 4 wheel vehicle, all wheel will not work.

If you air down your tires to about 16lbs, come in at low tide, stick to the ruts, and have a fairly high clearance, then you don't really need a 4 wheel drive vehicle.

Best kept secret in NC. Air down, put in in all fours, and have a blast. As long as you're a smart driver, you should be fine in any stock 4wd with AT tires ... but bring a shovel just in case.

10.5 miles to the VA border. Great spot to go.

Don't get close to the horses: $500 fine!

Make sure your 4WD is good and go duning!
