The flatwhite is awesome!!! Best coffee in gulou with very reasonable price:) the lighting and open kitchen is very lovely, full stock of imported beer , vedett 25 and duvel 30, they have pasta too!
The pizza Italia is a mad decent pepperoni pie. Best option if you've got a craving in the gulou area.

Je crois que c'est ce bar (le 70s) en tout cas, super ambiance rock et très accueillant. Tout le Hutong de ce côté de Gulou est plein de supers bars fréquentés par des pékinois essentiellement.
说是Bar，其实更像是个Cafe，这里的下午茶在周围老外圈子里很火热。外国老板+中国老板的搭配很有意思，虽然在饮品和事食物上达到西式，但又保留中式的服务之热情。P.S. 来这儿你得学好英文，因为菜单都是印在墙上的..
A fantastic cafe with a wide range of drinks, It looks tiny from the outside but opens up once you are inside. I also highly recommend the breakfasts (very affordable) and the almond desert! - Ross WS
