As other have mentioned. The mofongo is probably the best in Old San Juan. Eating outside gives you a nice view of the plaza !

I had the skirt steak yuca mofongo which is their specialty and it was very tasty however, the standout of this meal for me was the octopus appetizer , delicious accompanied with the warm fluffy arepas

I know everyone else is saying to try the skirt steak stuffed mofongo , but damn, it's amazing. We got it and split between two people for lunch . Perfect serving size for the two of us.

Please skip Raices & come here instead! So glad this was our last meal in PR. Friendly staff , good mojito & delicious food!

Tried monfongo for the first time here and it tasted amazing! My mother in law is more familiar with the dish and she said it's the best she's had in a restaurant .

Try the flan and coffee for an amazing dessert . When I went we tried the pinneapple and cheese flan both were good but the cheese was by far the best! They make different types each day

Lots of places in Old San Juan, but this is one rather authentic . Service can be a little slow, but the portions makes up for it.

Great place to find typical PR dishes. Right in the heart of old San Juan. Lunch would be ideal.

Highly recommend the mofungo, the either yuca or amarillo option. Both are awesome.

For the mufongo the garlic sauce is vegan but the criollo sauce is not. Black bean soup is vegan .
