The restaurant on the roof and the coffee shop on the ground floor are both very good, but the rooms are really rubbish. Stay at the Caravelle across the street and just eat here.
It is located very good location but very noisy especially weekend night. U can enjoy luxury brand shipping as well . Some offers tax refund, please do not forget to bring passport.
Stratigically located at the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, District 1. You'll be in good hands of the local staff here.

Nice historic rooftop bar . Favorite watering hole for Western reporters during the war.
The Rooftop Garden is amazing. It's a must-visit for its delicious snacks and drinks.
Nice rooftop swimming pool , though it is a little small. The view is very nice!
Totally restyled! Very different since my last visit 2008. The rooftop still the same fortunately! Free wifi in all the rooms! Well done AAA++o

The rooftop bar is pricy and the view doesnt live up to my expectation cuz theres a building under construction right nxt to it and its not high enough...
having remarkable history, the hotel seems to be a little shabby
The view can not be missed.

The Rose Garden treats you to the best beers of the world. Don't miss it!
The roof top view is the best but too pricey for drinks
Got a suite but it's kind of dated. Had issues with plumbing in the bathtub
Great location in the center of HCM
rooftop bar is a must, especially in the night, clean rooms , service in the restaurant/bar sucks
Rooftop is great and the pools on the roof are great too!
Go upstairs to the tennis courts at night for a fabulous view of Saigon!
Great view !
The breakfast is not really five stars. The bread is old, the cappuccino is really lousy and the selection of cereals is rather simple. The roof bar is ridiculously expensive a beer costs 6$!
Collect monthly the Word magazine and some magazines from Le Media here. While stock last.
They have a very beautiful garden "inside" this!!! It's would be surprised you somehow.
Best freaking breakfast I've ever seen from a hotel . I'll dream about that breakfast years from now and wish I had a marsupial pouch to steal all the little dumplings and guava juices . Glorious.
Internet here is incredibly slow with patchy signal. Not what you would expect from a 5 star!
It's an old folks place! Bring your parents there if you want to see them party :-D
Wifi : rexhotelsaigon
Go to the rooftop bar and drink cocktails whilst the sun goes down - go before it becomes a tourist mecca and is ruined.
Hotel suxx, stinky rooms, everything is very old - don't understand how it get 5 stars?

Love that it's in the middle of all the action!
Way overpriced. Rooms are decent but service really sucks. I'd stick with an American or European hotel (Rex is Vietnamese owned).
(roof bar ) wear bug spray! For some reason there was tons of mosquitos up there.
Don't try the burger here, I did it for you....
Rex smells gud!=]
Room floor is parquet floor so can hear people waking upstairs . lousy hotel for business people
excited, goin back tonight. :)
Good hotel service. Kinda lousy elevators . But overall, okay for its price
Breakfast service sucks . Sat down for 5 minutes went to get food and they clear my table and undrank coffee . And even let another guest sit at my table ! Anyway food spread no good.
Still waiting for coffee after repeated reminders . Super sucks service at restaurant
