A reasonable day trip for Jakarta area schools the Bogor Zoological Museum is a must see along with the botanical gardens . Suggest you try and get taxidermy shop & gardens in the tour if possible.

Poorly maintained, that's why mostly Indonesian ppl not to aware or care of how to treat things in museum . I don't recommend this place, just displaying a sample of a creature without putting any info

I know it's old colonial building, but could use some more lighting, in the area also in the exhibit box. Generally maintained poorly.
