Cycling around the historical park in the late afternoon or early morning is a peaceful experience you shouldn't miss. There's a free mini light and sound show in some Saturdays, check it out.
A must see when going half-way between Bangkok and Chiang Mai. There is so much Thai history here, you could spend the whole day there. Bring a nice camera to take all the beautiful pictures!!!????
Great place to go for sightseeing. Entrance fee is 100 baht for foreigners. It is better to rent a bicycle and enjoy nice ride. There is a pond inside where you can feed fish . Worth to visit if around
Historic places are so charming and magical. It’s definitely worth for your time to travel around, especially sunset time
Get there early, and don't forget to bring a bicycle . You'll have a ton of fun cycling from Wat to Wat, including the outer temples , easily reached without much effort.
Really big area if you have time you should take a day trip at least to visit all area and study about the history you can drive through or ride a bike but at day time very hot get some hat
Amazing city , temples , ruins, statues . It is great to get a grasp on how humongous this city must have been 700 years ago.
Doable as a day trip from Bangkok (I did it) with Bangkok Airways flights (7am from Bangkok and 17:30 from Sukhothai). They also have a shuttle bus from/to the historical park . Really good.
Really nice visit. The city is wonderfull and audio guides are availables. Do it by bike to feel the atmosphere
I am in love with this park . Just amazing - the lilies, the tempels, the statues !
Best way to visit rent a bicycle .
The tram departs whenever there are 10 people (40 baht). However, it doesn't allow you to hop on and hop off. Going around by bicycle is much more efficient and enjoyable!
A great pride for all Thai. This place is a must see when in the area. They have done an excellent job preserving the great history of Thailand.
Excellent historic spot. Very clean and beautiful.
Thai work permit for foreigners is not honored in this park to get a Thai rate entrance. I recommend the Si Satchanalai Historical Park . Work permits are honored and staff are nice and friendly .
One of the best historical park . Very well maintained.
Check all the gates before you buy a ticket-some of them are not guarded , especially after 4:30 pm.The guard to the Nothern Part at road 1113 in front of Tourist Information Center leaves around 4pm.
Beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Site
Amazing park ! Rent a bike if you can ;)
A very well preserved ancient capital of Thailand
Restored by the Fine Arts Department with the co-operation of UNESCO , not only with a view of fostering Thailand’s national identity but of safeguarding a fine example of mankind’s cultural heritage.

Don't miss to get a bike cycling around the park .
Staff , not nice and friendly . It's ok to inform foreigners of the rules and regulation of the park but say it in nice way. The security guard is nice and friendly though.

Try to be there in the early morning or in the middle of the afertnoon (3 p.m) to avoid groups.

Espectacular para pasear en bici. En dos horas lo ves de sobra
