Villa Comunale Di Taormina is a park Taormina located in Italy.
Via Croce 98039 Taormina Sicily Italy
The strange buildings in this beautiful park were built as bird houses by the duchess of Cesaro. The park is the perfect place to escape the burning Sicilian sun and hide in the shades.
The park is beautiful, and to my surprise, there is a WW1 8cm gun and a WW2 man-driven torpedo on display the latter was used by Italian commandoes in to sink Royal Navy battleshipa in Alexandria.
Beautiful garden with an unreal view over the coastline. One of the top places to visit in Taormina.
The public garden was donated by the Cacciola-Trevelyan family during the 1920s. Inside, there is a thick vegetation and a typically Mediterranean array of hedges and flower-beds.
One of the more authentic parks I’ve seen. Come close to the end of a day.

A lot of flavours, great service. I personally loved the granita di mandorla (almond). Do not forget to also ask for your brioche. - Emilio Lara
