The Rec is one of the nicest college rec centers in the country . Avoid it from 4-7 pm it's a mad house. Started working out in the morning and it's much less crowded . Best of luck Ags!
Half of the Rec's lot is now pay-by-the-hour, but anyone with a valid TAMU permit can park in the nearby garage for free after 4 pm on weekdays.
Classes are great exercise! Be prepared to leave tired and sore though!

The Rec parking lot is only 2 hour parking starting Jan 2013.
9 laps in lane 2 is almost exactly 2 miles. (I did the math). :)
