Rather limited menu but popular due to it's name and location right next to the Ohara Museum . It's old time-y in feel and serves decent coffee with ice cream and hand squeezed lemonade .
大原美術館 の隣、倉敷美観地区を代表するカフェ 。昭和34年開店。 建物は大原孫三郎の事務所として大正末期に建てられ、大正ロマンの雰囲気を楽しめます。カフェ の名前は大原美術館 所蔵の名画「受胎告知」の作者エルグレコの名から大原総一郎により名付けられました。ぜひ大原美術館 を見学 された後にここに立ち寄ることをお勧めします。
外装は蔦に囲まれたとても風格のあり、内装はレンガ造り、壺、学校の古校舎のような懐かしさがありとても落ち着きます。フードはトースト やケーキ 類などの軽食 のみでナポリタン のようなガッツリなメニューはありません。
食べ物は、トースト とカステラとブルーベリー チーズケーキ のみです。
