Best attention and atmosphere ever in Glasgow. Chilled, familiar, old fashioned and huge portions with great burgers , fish cakes , starters,makes it a perfect place to have lunch/dinner or tea !

The haggis croquettes , carrot soup , peppered steak pie , veggie delight falafel burger ... everything we had was absolutely delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly , & the atmosphere is comfortable .

Sometimes you feel like home in a bar . The Butterfly and the Pig is one of those places. Chill out on the sofas , have a beer or twelve, enjoy the excellent food and decoration. And the staff - superb!

Food is lovely. Good sized portions and reasonably priced. Good service . Ask for the coconut ice cake if not given a piece with the bill. Supers touch to end the evening.

An absolute little gem, the menu is not huge but the quality was fantastic. Had a chicken burger which was very well cooked and bursting with flavour, the chunky skin on chips were really good too.

Lovely restaurant & pub . Great food and super friendly staff . The portions are quite generous but the prices very reasonable. Great for vegetarians AND meat eaters, so perfect for 'mixed company' ;).

We didn't found out whether the bar had self service or table service - but they were very friendly and served delicious food. Try the salad with sweet potatoes !

Great food. Great customer service and great ambience. The menu is not easy to understand if you're a non-Scotsman. I had to read it twice to fully understand it. Would go back again :)

Trying out the Butterfly and the Pig in advance of going to the new Southside sister restaurant/pub. Food and drink were very good, we both had the burger . Service was a little slow.

The menu is a little crazy but it suits the entire place. Fantastic food and a really quirky place. Didn't like coffee in a tea cup but everything else was great.

Fish Cake £10.50, Glasgoe Tart £5.95. Both were aweesome. Especially Tart was fantastic. Now we just need to find a place for a happy nap after great lunch !!

Great live music on Fridays and Saturdays with the Easy Orchestra and the Meat Men playing regularly. Good weekly pub quiz too.

Black pudding with wee quail egg is delicious. Coffee is a bit hit-and-miss; the certainly don't do black coffee well .

Went to open mike night on a Tuesday in the bar attached. Was good fun and lively (though the singing was definitely amateur)

Get the black pudding salad as a starter - it's incredible delicious! (even if you are not a black pudding person)

Live music is always good food is excellent would recommend to anyone looking for a good time week days or weekends!

Amazing meat pie ! Draught beer was warm so went to bottles. Staff fantastic couldn't do enough.

You can't go wrong with ANYTHING here. Steak pie is delicious, though.

The piggery is a little offbeat, a little zany and makes you feel comfortable as soon as you plunge into its basement depths.
