The ultimate tonkotsu (R1) was good, the broth is boiled with pig 's brain. The ultimate black (R7) was equally good as the pork broth ones. Worth paying for a good bowl of premium ramen ! Slurp away!
Everything is good except for music being played is like pub music . Should play some instrumental music as dinners are talking and the music is blasting very irritating environment
I never miss to pay a visit to goku raku ramen because i was craving for it's soup every moment.. Super fabulous, delicious, super best of the best.. The amazing part my coughing has been cleared
Their ramen is good the char siu and braised pork belly served with it is excellent and tender, the meatballs are juicy and succulent.
Stamina Curry Rice is good but a lil bit unsufficient curry sauce . Ramen is average. Food served quickly and warm. Ambience interior too. Will return for more.
The noodle firmness is great :) Try Ultimate Tonkotsu Miso ! Tonkatsu , Katsu Curry , Utsunomiya Gyoza & Asian Rice are also nice.
If you are a small eater, the small portion is just nice. Chasiu is just so so but the braised pork is quite good. Miso broth is stronger than the normal tonkotsu broth.
Super Char Siew Ramen Original Soup has a very heavy porky scent which is overpowering. 1 thing worth ordering: Goku Ramen Pork Balls , tasted like Marmite . -Penang Kia Food Critique-
If you wanna have ramen , might as well spend a little extra and head over to Menya Musashi, Isetan 1U. Slightly more pricey but definitely more worthy than this place.
Melt in your mouth Pork ! Ramen noodles quite springy.
My friend used to tell me it's not good, but it surprises me with good Ramen soup . Gyoza is disappointing. Small size is good for small eater, my other male colleague took regular ramen bottoms-up!
Try their Ultimate Ramen , Shoyu soup . Really good. One of the better ramen I've had. Friendly staff too!
Must try the Kobuta Meshi Rice - simmered pork cubes with sauce on rice tasty & worth only RM 2.90 per bowl
I'm paying rm15++ for a small bowl of ramen . Wish the bowl that came with it wasn't cracked at least. I'm paying to experience ramen , if I wanted to eat noodle soup , I can get it at hawker shop.
For such high price point (RM24.90 per bowl) only found a slice of thin char siew and a slice of braised pork belly .
Everthing is chargeable including spring onion .... just imagine when average price per bowl is 2x.
Passable but broth still missing the ump! Plus egg is not perfection.
This is their menu showing Gyoza but where is the dumpling ? Wakaka...
Ramen wasn't as good compared to previously when they were newly opened. Also, only ONE slice of char siew (regardless of ramen size) is very unpleasant. A minimum of 2 slices would make more sense.
Love their Ramen .... Just need some smiley face from their waitress .
I'm dunno is their staff jugde people by your look or certain staff , is seem like being ignore, drinks forget come, no chopstick, some more drinks also get wrong
Tonkatsu soup ramen must try! However a little pricey for their portions , only little amount of char siu served .
Goku rake ramen broth is a tad salty but ultimate ramen is done just right with the tonkatsu flavour.
Ordered ultimate Tokyo ramen & I think it's the smell of the soup that made me feel disgusted. Braised pork with lean fat was soft & nice. Won't come back anymore as it doesn't worth the price.
Unlike others comments. Service speed is as normal. Ramen that we took not as salty as said. Gyoza sauce is salty so remember to dip a bit will do. Rm2.90 rice is very satisfying.
Although nothing compared to Ichiran but considered the better ones around KL and PJ. Still nothing can compare with #Ichiran.
The Black Tonkotsu Ramen is a bit salty
The food is good but I personally found the pork broth a little too strong smelling. We unfortunately had a very grumpy waiter :/ The 'black' soup is nice.
The broth of the tonkatsu here is terrible.. Mid Valley is much better.. Currently Ippudo still the best in town ..
My favorite restaurant everytime i arrived in KL
Excellent handling of customer feedback :)
Like Facebook page and get a FREE drinks worth RM4.90.
Don't bother having the dumpling . You will only taste garlic , ginger (lots) and flour.
Like their fb page and get free beverages till Jan 2013!
Broth in the Mid Valley outlet definitely much better compared to this one.
Honey Lemon Tea tasted like tap water or like when you walk into a heavily perfumed gift shop
The small size is quite small portion actually for a 20 bucks. ????
Hesitating to go back again.
It's no accident most comments are negative. Ramen soup lacks flavor. Where is the porky "kau-ness"? Let's not even talk abt portions of pork slices . It's as if I just cooked instant noodle at home.
Have no idea why they served smaller portion here compared to Mid Valley branch
Tonkotsu soup is delicious....yum
Don't bother eating here, or brave it at your own risk. The Tan Tan Ramen was extremely salty and the Tokyo Tonkotsu was equally bad. Everything is heavily laden in MSG.
Everything is disappointing here. The staff , service and food! Ramen is too salty and gyoza is too dry. And the staff doesn't even give a damn to customers.
The services are bad too. The employees all stand behind the counter to have their chit-chat session
Portion is small and the soup is a little too salty for me.
Original tonkatsu ramen wasn't good for me.
Overpriced and taste normal. Dksh staff got 10% off for ala carte menu only.
Yummm......
Char siew !
food is not as good as before especially the fried gyoza . you could taste the flour...just bad. time to go ippudo.
