James Ensor , one of the most famous figures of the late 19th century avant-garde and Belgian modern art , grew up and died in Ostend. His house is open to the public, except on Tuesdays.
Very nice museum . Visit of Ensors house, including lots of original fourniture and good explanation of his life in a chronical way.
Very cheap to enter, the staff is so motivated! Lovely place.
