Great views and not a bad hike from the town center (<.5 mile). Shoe check mandatory (40 rupees) & admission runs 200. HOWEVER, ask if the view platform is open before you pay! It was closed for us.

One of my favorite views ever. Climb up the Buddha statue to see an amazing view of Kandy , a birds eye view . Parking can be hard so avoid on Poya days.

Best place if you need to see the city of kandy from above.And dont forget the stair case behind the statue with you can get to the top of the statue .

Go to the back of the statue and there you will find stairs to go to the (almost) top of the statue . Stunning view !

Beautiful place to see Kandy from a top view . The statue is 88ft. tall and BEAUTIFUL! A must visit for anyone who visits Kandy!

There are awesome views from near the top of the Buddah statue . Make sure you respect the place and don't do anything to disrespect it. (like standing on the head of the statue , like some people)
