Beautiful palace , take the audio guide for an additional €3. Also you can take the opera station train which is a few meters away. Don't miss the gala dining room.
You can leave the train at Opera station. This station is 400 meters from Royal Palace . Very easy to get to the palace that is amazing with beautiful paints!!!
This palace of the official residence of the King, used for state ceremonies. Look at the 50 impressive ornate rooms available to the public. Highlights are the Royal Chapel and the Porcelain Room.
An amazing exhibition of the Royal family ’s life. The rooms and halls of the palace are just magnificent. It’s risk totally worth the visit.
If you want to make it for the free admission be sure to be around the palace at least 15 mins before free admission starts. Otherwise you will be facing one of the longest queues ever :)
Beautiful palace 👑 great architecture ✨ plenty of art 🖼 and sculptures 🪆 don’t mis the background 🌷
This place is where you should start your trip through Madrid! Take it as basic lesson in spanish history & enjoy the big offices & living rooms inside, incl the breathtaking Gala Dining Room.
The no taking a picture thing is a little over the top. Lots of bored, angry guards just looking to bark at you undercuts the beauty of this place
Don’t miss the most important baroque place in Spain! Beautiful maintained royal palace with breath taking crystal chandeliers . With international student card the reduced price is only 6€!
Great views of the Palace from the park . We went at night and the view was stunning. For the guys, take a small picnic at night for a great romantic setting
Great palace . Better than Versailles and Buckingham. My advise to get the audio guide and enjoy.
The audio tour for an extra $3 euros was very helpful. Beautiful palace . Glad I did the tour !
Great views of Madrid, lovely walk around the gardens and you can have a look for free but there is a charge to tour the inside of the palace but it's worth it :-)
Very interesting place with an astonishing history, beautiful decorations, and breathtaking masterpieces. Strongly recommend taking an audioguide and follow the order.
Do the guided tour for about 7 Euro extra. It is well worth it for the view into additional rooms and the history lessons. And while scheduled for an hour, our guide took us for nearly two!
Although I did not enter, it is a splendid site from all of its angles. Went there over and over during and day and night... Stood there thinking "these are our ancestors that dominated our lands..."
Nice place to spend some time walking, close to the almudena cathedral and to a variety of bars and restaurants . A must see spot for tourism
In practice the family has not lived here for a century. Largest palace in Europe , and incredibly open to public consumption. Waves of visitors have taken their toll, but much of it is exquisite.
A must visit if you are in Madrid! The biggest palace in Europe and admission is only 10 euros. Too bad that only a small portion of the palace is open to public.
Great views of Madrid, lovely walk around the gardens and you can have a look for free.
What an incredible place to visit. Do not miss the palace and if you can, make sure to your the kitchen
Such a beautiful palace full of detail unlike anything I have seen before. A must see attraction for all types of people
I particularly enjoyed the Stradivari exposition and the porcelaine rooms. Palacio Real de Madrid is worth to visit.
Wow. Although (seen many incorrect tips) it is not the royal family 's residence, this surely is the biggest and one of the most beautiful palaces in Europe . That+free admission=<3
One of the most amazing places you've to visit in Madrid
The Palace was occupied by the President of the Second Republic in 1936 on the eve of the Spanish Civil War.
One of many places we visited great tour and history. Highly recommend
5€ entry with 3€ audioguide. Main palace is only open Wednesday!! Other days you only see 1 temporary exhibit and armory. Most information is only in Spanish. Very little English explainations
If you don’t want to stand hours in the line , go on the site, buy tickets online and go directly
better to go to the Egyptian palace and to see both the palaces e and the cathedral
The entrance is free for EU citizens from 6pm, but it's best to come around 6:45. Huge waiting line is almost gone, and 1hr is enough for a visit.
impressive
One of my favorite stops in Madrid. MUST SEE. The palace gives context to Spanish art and history.
Incredible! Definitely worth going inside. It's free between 6pm and 8pm but only for Europeans and South Americans. Definitely worth paying though! Highlight of Madrid.
Free entry for EU citizens on certain days and hours. Just remember to bring your passport.
It's totally worth the price! But the kitchen tour takes place at certain times so be sure to check before your visit
Really beautiful and breathtaking, plus the gardens next to it are perfect for a walk and relaxation.
The fact that they don't warn you about their no-photo policy in the palace halls is kind of deceptive considering nearly all museums allow no-flash photography .
Although impressive, not worth 10 eur, during the week you can get in for free (check the website) No pictures allowed inside
A photographer`s heaven :) It`s a Madrid must-see! The palace is an amazing piece of architecture
Must visit, but be early the queue can stretch for a mile 😂
Usually open for public. But it may be closed due to official ceremonies. Panoramic view from the balcony , beautiful rooms and halls inside the palace !
Largest Royal palace in Europe and you can take pictures now
The palace is gorgeous both inside and out. Saturated in history and talent or is certainly not a spot you want to miss.
You must see this place and make sure you take a tour in side
free admission for EU citizens Monday-Thursday from 18:00 (in the summer season). be prepared for a queue. Beautiful place to visit
