You can see the arch from eye level at the 2nd floor balcony (open to the public) of the Whitney Peak Hotel .
Be sure to see the older smaller Reno Arch by the William Harrah National Automobile Museum near Lake and Mill Streets. The museum is worth a visit as well . Enjoy your time in RENO!!
They’ve recently repainted the sign blue and white. Previously it was red and white.

The economy has really done a number on downtown Reno, not as vibrant as it used to be.
Bring change there is the odd Panhandler and they look like they need it.
