REXKL, previously the iconic Rex Cinema, aims to give the surrounding community a new lease on life by repurposing the disused building as a space for events, theatre, exhibitions, performances, screenings, library facilities, workshops, retail, and F&B. Come say hello.

A former cinema given a new lease of life as an art and culture event hall with cafe , bars and indie shops.
Had Prawn Ramen laksa that wasn’t ramen noodles but still delicious at Lauk Pauk Urban Warung. Cauliflower fried rice tasted good too. Friendly and helpful staffs . Trendy and artsy place.
The hipster quotient is off the charts. Defo try pork “meatball ” cubes&lard-tossed noodles - u’ll find ur foodie soul groovin’ to the live DJ 🎵 . Underrated but good natural wines from Puro as well .
Old cinema space converted to community event space with occasional markets and cultural events held inside. Also check out the large bookstore on the upper floor too.
