Slightly confusing ordering counter hidden in the G/F corner, and tiny food menu (pastries , 3 pizzas , 3 salads ), but all of it is good and the coffee is great. Best seating on the 1/F veranda .

Every two weeks there is an open cupping session on Wednesdays at 2pm. It was super interesting and fun to have a chat with the roasters about their Da Matteo coffe 👍🏻

They offer one of the best coffee in Gothenburg . The cafe is very spacious and plenty of seats. Coffee Semla was definitely unique. I could feel the coffee . Also, the bun was darker and different.

A Klassisk roast espresso with a "mellan" amount of steamed milk (ie, a cappuccino ), and a hazelnut cookie , will surely make your day. The Klassisk coffee is bolder, the Modern is brighter.

WHY THERE: coffee , desserts , snacks , tasty interior. DISHES&DRINKS: great. STAFF : friendly . LOCATION: close to mainstream (convenient). PRICES: higher average (reasonable)

For the coffee loving country that it is I generally find the quality on offer in Sweden quite poor but my flat white was as good as any I've had back home (Australia). Can highly recommend da Matteo!

We think all the Da Matteos in Gothenburg might be transdimensional interlinked portals, but this is just a working theory. There are like ten of these things. Might be a cult. We liked the chai latte

The quality and care at this aficionado espresso temple is excellent. A bit pricy , but on the other hand you can usually choose from several kinds of beans and roastings.

I liked the coconut dessert and the goat cheese sandwich 👌🏼

Staff is very nice. There's free wifi and a great choice of coffee , tea and swedish pastries . Very authentic and cozy , good for working as well .
