I think just about any food loving person visiting Vancouver knows to try Japadog. The difference between this location and the street stands is the shaked fries . I recommend the butter shoyu fries ! ♥
I am a big fan of regular boring hotdogs , so when I tried Japadog for the first time, it blew my mind!!!! I would come over from Vancouver Island just for Japadog. I would recommend the terimayo.
Japadog’s signature item is the Terimayo: an all-beef hot dog topped with teriyaki sauce , Japanese mayo , fried onions and shredded seaweed . Read more
I really liked the variety here & the cool and innovative options for a simple staple such as a hotdog . I got the Croquette one and it was fantastic, especially the sauce
The spicy cheese Terimayo with shichimi and garlic fries is a pretty safe bet if you are overwhelmed by the options and variety. I was reluctant to try it for over year, but it's worth the hype.
Avo hot dog and fries . Super incredible!
This is a favorite stop when I'm in Vancouver. The seasoned fries are yummy and every hotdog I've tried was great.
Vancouver has the best Japanese food outside of Japan. They also have this. #4 is awesome but there isn't anything on the menu that doesn't look delicious.
Great hot dogs with a Japanese twist. Don’t forget to order a side of fries
Not sure why there is so much hype. It's a hot dog with some interesting things on it but doesn't taste amazing. It's fine if you want to try a different kind of hot dog but don't go out of your way.
It is something typical from Vancouver. It is not what I was expecting but I am not disappointed. You should come and try it!
Try the Teri Mayo J - I wanted only-in-Vancouver food, and I got it. If these guys ever expand to brooklyn and the LES I want in on the ground floor.
Terimayo surely is a safe bet for a quick snack . Black sesame ice cream hotdog is an excellent dessert choice.
Loved both the Terimayo Dog as well as the Butter & Shoyu fries . Ice cream next.
Excellent go early before the best ones sell out.
You can find Japadog stands a number of places; worth a try. My favorite is the Oroshi dog by far.
Love the kurobuta terimayo and okonomi dogs . The age ice cream is AMAZING.
If you want something different than your standard terimayo, try the oroshi dog - grated japanese radish (daikon ), green onion and a little soy sauce .
Oroshi - daikon and soy sauce goes well with the pork bratwurst !
The terimayo is a classic. And I usually prefer crispy fries , but the soft floppy ones here are amazing!
Go with the kurobata, Dave your money on the fries . The former is delicious, the latter is almost non-existent (portions of fries are TINY!)
Simply an awesome place if you like both hotdog and typical flavors of Japanese food .
I really like the Tonkatsu . But if the idea of Ice cream served in a deep fried hot dog bun sounds too good to be true, then you have to try the Age Ice.
If you're here, you have to try the fries ! The butter shots flavour is my fave
New to this world famous hot dog place? Try the Terimayo. You can't go wrong. My personal favorite? Tonkatsu . Interesting take on the classic pork cutlet .
Fries were a little under cooked but otherwise awesome! Sea weed on a hotdog is awesome!
I go back here every other week. Best "hotdog " out there :)
Try the poutine with Japanese curry
I recommend the most popular #1 and the more delicious #2.
Virgins, the Kurobuta Terimayo is a must. It all started here!
Everything is good!!!
I love the okonomi hotodog! It’s really nice ✌????
$10 buys you a hotdog , drink and shake fries . Good deal .
Only Japadog where you can sit and dine-in
Great hot dogs but in my list of places with the worst possible seating layout
Classic terimayo with wasabi mayo is a must try.
Very simple place. Best hot dogs ever
Try the Terimayo ????????????
The kurobuta terimayo is delicious!
This place is so good that even Japanese girls flock to it to take selfies with piece signs.
Can't go wrong with meal #1 and butter Shoyu fries !!!
For anyone looking for a kick of spice, definitely try the spicy cheese terimayo!
The pork terimayo and ice cream is good here
Try the Okonomi Dog - Hot dog with Japanese mayo , bonito flakes , fried cabbage
Try the Butter and Shoyu French Fries - Tastes like hot buttered popcorn from a theater . $2.39
Had the terimayo, wasn't that impressed. Mayo is super sweet
A little bit odd the mixture of ingredients but real good taste !
Try the Croquette Dog - Hot dog with sweet sauce and fried mashed potatoes
Pretty good. The #1 is my favourite
Add butter shoyu fries to your meal
My favourite veggie option is the veggie terimayo. Your welcome. - Shane Hedges
New southwestern grilled chicken salad is great even without the dressing (160 calories extra)!!!!!! The chk is also warm. - Darla Moore
Great burger and french fries. It takes a bit until the food is served - which is actually great as you can tell it’s done freshly just for you. Very yummy and the staff is very friendly, too. - Wolfgang Bremer
Original vanilla cream puff... Very nice. Crunchy, not too sweet, light but not insubstantial. - Tina Bloom
You can spend many hours here! (especially if you're a shopper like I am) Whatever you're looking for, you can find it here. Bonus: FREE wifi - Camilla
