Seit 1996 existiert in Köln-Deutz das Gebäude 9, das zugleich Club und Freies Theater, Konzert-Bühne und Underground-Kino ist. Auf der Konzertbühne stehen Künstler aus einem weitem musikalischen Feld - Indie-Rock, Punkrock, Avantgarde, Singer/Songwriter und Elektronik.
