The porridge was awesome and so is the fried kuey tiaw.. the carrot cake is also awesome! I come here quite often the carrot cake and porridge stall are close together and usually pack with people!

Chicken rice . The one 4SQ fans recommended is Hup Hong #01-51. Sees long queues during lunch time. While Tian Tian it is not, they serve a decent plate. Plus they give a side of ‘achar’ & vege soup

Try the yam cake and Chee cheong fun from Jin Jin Cooked food. Good portion for $2 and old man selling the food is quite sincere about getting the order right.

Bak chor mee (minced pork noodles , $4.50). Unimpressed with Ah Kim #01-03. Average bowl. Sauce itself & vinegar lacked aroma. The key attraction is their chilli padi

Epok-epok (curry puff ). Good ones made by Sri Menanti #01-60. Mee Rebus is average though

One of the chicken rice & prawn noodles stall here at one of the best I've tasted . Have been eating for years .

People queue here Fei Fei wanton mee - be prepared to wait for at least half an hour. They only open from lunch , around 11am-12pm
