Don't leave without getting a sausage sandwhich and chop sandwhich if you like pork . They also have beef sausage and beef t-bone for non-pork lovers.

It's a tad off the highway, but the side trip is worth it. Get there early, park by all the other cars & get into line for the famous sausage sandwich . Order a few. The line will be longer later.

My first disappointing visit to Helen's. she was out of eggs an the sausage was cold. It was 11:30 and she closes at noon. How can she be out of eggs and be planning to open Monday at 4:00 am.

Most of their business is take out . Nice ladies, okay food. Home fries blah.
