The Lake of the Ozarks is the largest body of water in Missouri. It was created with the completion of the Bagnell Dam in 1931 and now has 1,150 miles of shoreline. 'The Lake' receives thousands of visitors every year and at one point was the most visited lake for boaters in the Midwest.
