Great bacon cheddar burger !! Best ever had from bar . I will say that it is a very small place, so beware. It is also lacking parking , all in all I will return. ????????
This is my favorite bar burger in Madison. Made from steak trimmings it is perfectly beefy in flavor
Possibly the best steak sandwich in town . Sweet potato fries are nice alternative. Fish fry on Wednesday's not as crowded as the packed house Fridays.
Tiny facility, but stick around, the food is well worth the wait. Delicious fish fries on Fridays. Burgers are made fresh and taste fantastic!
Both the perch and cod fish fries are SOLID! Oakcrest is a Madison institution
Huge portions of delicious food! The burgers and Reuben sandwiches are awesome! I can't wait to go back. YUM
Great burgers sourced from Knoche's Meat Market across the street. Cozy , authentic , Wisconsin neighborhood tavern.
It's a bar . abut, it's a bar with delicious bar fare (especially the burgers ) and excellent service.
Del works the grill and Monday and Tuesday and he is awesome! Music is great too!
Burgers are made from fresh ground beef from across the street.
Food is consistently good. Burgers and Fish are good.
Great cheeseburgers , nothing fancy or gimmicky. Just delicious.
Great Fish Fry !
The perch plate is the best in town .
Del is fantastic bartender/chef.
Burger was delicious
The dream team here is Oscar on bar and Craig on the grill ... experience trumps youth, here.
Great beer and atmosphere
Best burger I've had in Madison.
Good Wednesday night fish fry !
The cheeseburger (with cheese inside the burger) was absolutely delicious & the hot chips were a very nicely done accompaniment! - Wendy Staats
The beef is top notch. Oakcrest tavern across the street makes it into a phenomenal burger - Amy Robertson
Never had a bad meal. Gotta love this place. Go for the scotch ale. - Stephen Petras
