The 'Straits Chinese', also called the Baba and Nyonya, are Chinese of noble descent who have adopted much of the Malay culture into theirs. This has been a gradual process lasting over 400 years since the great Chinese explorer Admiral Cheng Ho first brought Chinese settlers to Melaka.

Place to learn about Peronakan culture and daily houselife. Didn't take the tour , took the booklet instead for self guidance, was perfectly ok. There's also a small souvenir shop inside
Worth the 15 ringget. Good commentary by guide alto not v friendly . Amazing furniture n history in house. Better than nyonya house in Penang. Last 45min tour starts at 345pm. First tour is 1015am.
Worthwhile to pay 15 ringget for guided tour . First tour at 1015 am n last tour at 445 pm. More interesting than the baba house in Penang.
Beautiful. The self-guided tour is okay as the book they provide you with is very informative
Must visit this museum . The architectural and the furniture in the museum is so beautiful! The drama Little Nyonya was filmed here.
Went for the jewellery museum ahead first then this. Very impolite staffs . A little pricey but all worth the knowledge
Learn about Peranakan history and culture . Love the design of the building outside.
Interesting and well maintained. Efficient tour delivered without charm. No time given to take things in.
Very interesting ..you will learn a lot about the baba nyonya history and tradition
Great place for some history lessons. Lots of original antiques with back stories.
Nice baba house with experience entirely tarnished by the service provide by the "black-face" lady staff in baju. What a pity....
Last tour until 4pm only, but opening until 4:30pm. Adult is for RM16
