The Hudson Malone is a classic cocktail bar located just a few blocks north of the Affinia 50. It offers refined classic cocktails , inventive recipes pioneered by its many talented bartenders .

Doug runs the best bar in NY. Hands down. The service is top notch, old school know your name style. Order a mixed cocktail and you'll be hard pressed to find a better version in this city .

Ross Katz

IF YOU KONW THE AREA...this is THE spot! It's the "Quinn-tessential" burger , atmosphere, service and vibe. It's NYC through and through. Come for Doug. Stay for the Burger...never leave!!

Tony Xerri

Came here for casual drinks. Lots of suits but infinitely better than the trash over at Turtle Bar or any of the other bro bars . Good beer selection and a great old fashioned. Well done.

Andrew Doll

A chill , easy going bar that is equally good for an easy pint with the game, or a great cocktail with a date. Kitchens open late , as well as the bar !

Stephania

amazing atmosphere, delicious food, and truly great service. This is the first time I've ever longed to be a regular at a midtown bar...this place rocks!

Bartender/owner is so sweet and will make custom drinks! His food menu is also personal family recipes ! So cozy , obsessed

Brad Garoon

Go for the "El Burger ." Dry-aged beef topped with a bit of cheese and a big pickle chip . The thick patty might be a bit under-seasoned, but the quality is evident. Read more

I haven't even been there yet and I know it is legendary. The "Bowtie" is back! Happy to see that Doug Quinn opened his own place!

Jeffrey

Essential Cocktail : The Boulevardier, with bourbon , Campari , and sweet vermouth . A throwback classic done expertly.

Russell Hirschorn

Nice chill place to get a drink with friends. Food is not great and alcohol selection could use some work, but the location and ambiance make it a good choice.

Sarah Chase

Best drinks line up in Manhattan - unparalleled service. A real NYC joint, a diamond in the rough and ready!

Jaycob Burns

If it's crowded on the first floor, try the 2nd. It's cozier anyways (but with less beer selection )

John Carney

This is now my favorite place in midtown. Gets crowded at Happy Hour , so be prepared.

Angela Hughes

Midtown East is littered with sports bars , and most of them are absolutely awful. Hudson Malone is the rare standout. You can watch a game here without hating yourself, and the food’s even pretty good

Kimberly Rodberg

Pushy with the food. random waiters get in your face, review 6 specials, interrupting conversation. Tries too hard for that "old school" vibe but fail to deliver the key characteristic: quiet drinking.

Trae F

I liked the authentic pub feel and the servers were really friendly and attentive. Food was just ok.

Meg Farmer

In all honesty, over-hyped and over priced. It's same as any other midtown pub , but trying too hard & in denial.

Stephen B

Don't order any of the classic cocktails - the bartender doesn't know how to make them and then insults you when you send it back. Stick to beers and vodka sodas .
