It's a massive quartzite rock that reaches 30m in height. The freestanding rock towers over the dense indigenous forest of Driekop Gorge. It's littered with brightly-coloured aloes that add to the appeal amongst the local birds and insect species and also make for beautiful photographs of the rock.

A must see if you're in the area. If you're in a rush you only need about 30 mins to visit. The rocks by the water are slippery so be careful especially if you're with kids. - Karishma Rammanhor
200m past God's Window. Better view and no tourist shops - Andre Bruton
Very beautiful. There are trails that other people made. Which alows for a better and more beautiful view of the waterfall - Ettienne Boshuisen
South Africa at its best! With spectacular sceneries and stunning views, the Blyde River Canyon is a natural beauty that’s definitely worth checking out. - Turkish Airlines
Very disapointing as you have to look at the waterfall through a high encaged area! They took something that is magnificent and screwed it up! - Hennie Martens
