I grew up in Sunset Park and lived diagonally across the street from the park and PS 169K is directly across the street. Sunset Park is on the highest natural point in Brooklyn . Worth the trip.
The park that gave the neighborhood its name is a perfect place (especially at sunset ) for a swim or a picnic with a knockout view of the waterfront . It also had a recent face-lift.
