Call ahead to make a reservation as it is crowded in the evening. Some of the best sushi you'll find for ¥100 per plate - the salmon was fresh, the tempura was perfect, and their wasabi is on point.
The absolute best part of our Kyoto stay! Yes, it’s crowded etc but you just need to take a reservation number in advance and return when your time is allocated. The price and quality is excellent!
Shrimp mayo is ok
The quality you'd expect from a ¥100 spot. Fun atmosphere , and the mediocre fish is still higher quality than you'll find almost anywhere outside of Japan.
The only thing about this place is cheap . Food so so only.
