Really really great hotdogs for 5rmb(I guess) and drink cup for 2rmb and you can refill it with any drink. Of course the main thing is cart racing with friends! 

If there is an IKEA in hell, it is this one! Lovely place to stay all day long sleeping in various sofas and beds. Beijing's Swedish theme park !

List? A must have or you'll just end up with a cart full of anything you like, I know I did! Downside: overly crowded , & people "overly sampling" furniture displays.

Prepare a shopping list before coming and try your best to stick to it. You don't want to end up with a bunch of stuff you dont need like, at all. Easy to be tempted.

Ikea. You go in for one thing. Four hours later you leave with a trolley full of stuff you don't need, a foul mood and a thumping headache.. The question is - why the hell do we keep coming back?

The canteen of Ikea has the most delicious and inexpensive food, including cakes , salad and drinks.

Bring a big bag to carry all your goodies home. Otherwise you can buy IKEA bags for ¥4.50 each.

If you want the real Chinese IKEA experience just go there, sit on the couch , hang out all day

Don't go on the weekends if you are claustrophobic. The crowds are intense and you are guaranteed some bruised shins from the random trolley .

You came for furniture but you stay for people watching .

Best time to come is either weekday evenings or weekends just when they open. Other hours it is pretty crowded .

Come during weekday nights to avoid crowds, it's open late , until 11pm. Spot the shortcuts to avoid sections you don't care about

Never come during the weekend or public holiday or it would be like this...

You can pay 100 and they will pick out stuff for you. Also you can pay 200 they will deliver and assemble!!!

Since November 2012 I can not find the "daim" chocolate anymore at the Ikea supermarket in Beijing

In case you'd prefer dining to shopping, the diner is right to the left from the main entrance on the 3rd floor.
