Just eat here...love the sausage , good brisket , good pulled pork .. Get your onion ring on, just do it ... Get the big beer ... BBQ Sauce is SUPER, and we all know, BBQ joint must have special sauce
The pulled pork and pulled chicken were amazing. We both loved the beans, and his ribs were extra tender. Don't forget to take your bathroom code that is in your ticket if you need to use the restroom !
Chopped brisket is minced as baby food . Turkey is very soft, but no taste. Ribs are good!!!! The BBQ sauce is awesome, and service is polite and fast. This place is nothing as good as Lockhart's...
Great food great service, fries and pulled pork were delicious, I would recommend it if you are in the area.
just go-FANTASTIC bbq , go twice if possible, the brisket was XLNT, the sausage too and the service was XLNT, order a side of pickles as well & warm buns to sop up their tasty sauce
Very authentic BBQ joint . Their sausages and brisket are great!
Honestly some what disappointing, the onion rings , beans and the jalapeño sausage were all great, the brisket and the ribs were subpar.
I liked the chicken on the bone and the brisket . As far as BBQ it was alright...... Make sure to bring someone to the bathroom with you..it's down an elevator and in the basement . Kind of creepy.
The 3/4 combo plate, the smashed potatoes , and the service (ask Mary to be your waitress ) are extremely good.
They have a wide range of side items including slaw and onion rings . Everything is ordered al la carte.
Join the Smokehouse Gang for news, gifts , invites, offers and more! It's free, and sign ups are on the table.
Got 1/2 order of pork ribs with 2 vegs which leaves enough room for dessert . Chopped brisket very good as well . Special offer register email address get free dessert .
One line to order. When you're next in line , be ready to step up to the next available register. Don't make everyone behind you wait!
Their brisket sandwiches and their bbq sauce is really good.
Lemon pepper wings are the best I have had yet !
Friday "Pork Out" special--pulled pork , ribs , sausage , 2 sides and a drink--is good food and a great deal.
Both the ribs and mac & cheese not good on the day we were there. You can find much better in the DFW area.
3/4 combo plate is the way to go.

The rolls were probably the best thing here. All the sides tasted like they're from frozen foods you can buy at the grocery store . Meat was ok. Disappointing and quite expensive for what you get.
The ladies at the cash registers are the best! Be nice to them.
Great ribs !
Jalapeño mash potatoes .. are the way to go!
Loved the food. Order the onion rings .
Wheelchair accessible (old building built before ADA law) so ask staff to open backdoor to get in with chair. Bathrooms in basement via elevator .
Agree with Laura H. The sliced brisket was lean yet tasty. And, you gotta love the Sonny's sauce. It was even good on the potato salad !
Fancy new napkin dispensers. ;-)
Relative to cost it's merely ok. If you've been to Jacks in Nashville, this is nowhere in the same league. But service is excellent.
Great, gluten-free barbecue . "Lose the wheat, not the meat." :-)
Not on the menu , but the Frito Pie is pretty great.
Great place for lunch the ribs are the bomb
Our first time here … not bad. Baked potato with brisket was actually taste:-)
Get a platter for lunch !
Ribs were exceptionally tough, but the dinner rolls were really good. Does seem like a tourist trap BBQ place . If you are a BBQ fanatic, it's about a c minus
Its good but there's far better BBQ in Texas.
Pulled chicken was super good.
Order the Pulled chicken salad
I am not impressed with this place at all. Mediocre food at best and I can get better sauce from the supermarket ! There is much better BBQ back home in St. Louis.
I know there is a lot of good Q in Dallas, but this was really outstanding. Try the brisket sandwich .
I'm just glad we got the onion rings for free. No bueno.
Pulled pork was good.....onion rings not so good.
I could cut my brisket with the side of my fork. Well done Dallas.
Try the Drop Top amber pale... goes great with their BBQ
One block from DART West End light rail station in Dallas.
Try the Beef Brisket -
Really. World famous onion rings don't start off with flour deep-fried no seasoning serve on a plate. Maybe world-famous for not being good at all.
Avoid the Rogge Dunn "Deal". $14 for two ribs , a sandwich and a side. The brisket and ribs were good, but not worth $14. There are better choices on the menu for the money.
Chopped brisket and pulled pork . Enough said. Read more
Try the Peach Co
Service is terrible. Hostess ignored me and once self seated at bar , took them 10 minutes to get me a menu and water. Food seems over priced as well .
Awesome Ribs. All around great food. I highly recommend the Ribs - Ethan Bass
Definitely get the brisket and cauliflower/Brussels sprouts au gratin! - Kayla Lorentz
The vinegar sauce is delicious! Skip the slaw and go for Mac & Cheese. 32oz mimosas! Pulled pork was my favorite. - Kristy Voll
About a two hour visit. Buy tickets in advance so you don't have to wait in line. Really well done with lots of detail bit in a digestible format. - Max Wenneker
Amazing to be standing in an area that marks our history so much. That with the Book Depository Museum. Is a must if your in the area. - The Traveler
Great selection of hats, boots and belts. Lots of leather apparel. Reasonably priced souvenirs in the back. Very nice employees. - Scott Hegyes
