An "olde worlde" pub that offers excellent food and drink as well as attentive yet unobtrusive service, and still manages to be a genuine "local".

Carl Griffin

Beautiful old pub with a superb beer garden . Reputedly used regularly by Dick Turpin. Good reputation for food.

Steve Murray

Cracking on the patio on a Waitress service on the patio for drinks and food. Cracking on a day like today. Now what to have - Wild Boar burger . Oh and an easy bike ride from Caldecote Lake .

Rodrigo Cambraia

Chocolate fudge cake with double cream!

The Salmon and Scallops on the current specials menu is delicious.

Is now a chef & brewers chain pub , farewell Wild Boar Scotch Egg , hello standard pub menu - shame ....

Check that your pint is actually a full pint!

Keith Martin

Food excellent

Mark Ellis

Poor place, three packets of crisps left behind bar , no drinking straws, local beer not well kept and impolite service despite being quiet in the bar area. Avoid.

Mark Blyth

Really great food for low prices. Creative presentation, good variety in a hotel dating back to 1480. Assistant Manager Aron went out of his way to make sure we had a great evening. - Dieter Buchner
