If your not getting a suite stay in another hotel ... Service is amazing here but if your only getting a room, the hilton might be a better choice. suites are kings ransom, but you do live like a king.

Magic atmosphere. Here you can find the incredible English charm and politeness. I only hope they will work something up for the windows...they do not do well with the heavy wind.

Gorgeous Hotel on the waterfront ! Walk down to the docks and find a street vendor selling Belgian Waffles - I have yet to find a treat to equal the quality I have found here!
Tired of those hotels with their first class amenities like air conditioning ? No worries! The Empress is ghetto fab, with no heat or AC ! Want air? You can open your window up to two inches! LUXURY !

The closest 'go-to' geocaches are in the Sunken Garden outside the museum and the gardens of St. Ann's Academy. There are about 20 geocaches of varying types within a 1km radius of the Empress!

The solo pianists they hire for High Tea take requests and are the best players around. They add so much to the experience, compared to a recording.
Nicely redone rooms and treated the dogs like royalty. Also nice walk from seaplane terminal.
Super central - easy walk from the clipper or from harbor air!
Go to High Tea . Might be pricey for some, but it is a lifetime must experience.
