Fjallsárlón Glacier Lagoon is a lake

Much smaller lagoon but therefore the glacier is much closer. Very impressive. Road is pretty bad. In summer there's a tour operator offering boat tours .
Smaller than Glacier Bay but still a great place to see amazing pieces of glaciers floating on the water.

Not as impressive or beautiful as his big "brother" Jökulsárlón but still nice. Plus: less tourists .

Gorgeos location with floating glaciers and seals. You have to feel that during sunset, it's simply epic place. Very good spot for photo as well. - Milan Dufek
Take one of the glacier climbing tours that start from the Vatnajokull visitor's center. The views on top of this glacier are amazing! Also Game of Thrones and Batman Begins were filmed here! - Dark
