Tomb of Itimad ud Daulah | Baby Taj is a historic and protected site Āgra located in India.
Near Yamuna River (Idmadullah Road) Āgra 282001 Uttar Pradesh India
About 4 km North of the Taj, on the left bank of the Yamuna, is a perfectly proportioned marble mausoleum Itmad-ud-Daulah. Noor Jehan constructed this splendid marble monument in her father’s memory.
It's a little far, you can visit and after go see the Taj Mahal across the river in sunset , it's breathtaking!
Take off your shoes , lie down in the grass and enjoy the silence and cleanliness of this place... Great place to relax for hours...
Better visit on sunset . The tomb changes its collar into pink :)
It is similar to Taj Mahal in many ways, but I still found it worth the visit and recommend it.
The tomb of the parents of the Muslim wife of jahanger khan and her family. Started 1622 and completed 1628, design inspired Taj Mahal.
Nice clean monument . Loved the walls and interiors
Had a security guard try to shake me down for a bribe because he decided this was the one monument in India that doesn’t allow headphones in your bag ????
Pretty small and not that intresting compared to Taj Mahal and the Fort in Agra.
If you’ve been to the Taj Mahal, the Baby Taj is nothing compared to the majestic Taj Mahal.
marvel of the world. totally recommended.i got the guide, but you can also get the stuff from wikipedia in advance and enjoy anyway the view - Daniel Pérez
Called as the City of Victory by Emperor Akbar after his triumphs, Akbar wanted to make this majestic fort as his headquarters but due to the shortage of water he had to ultimately move to Agra Fort. - ITC Hotels
Great views of the Taj Mahal yet virtually no one comes here. Which is a good thing in my book if you want to enjoy it without all the crowds. - anand Ⓜ️
