Breakfast is pricey at €20 per person but is worth it! Fresh OJ w/Eggs or cheese accompanying a bread basket & then fresh yoghurt topped w/red fruits and a glass of bubbly to finish. Very elegant!
Definitely a pricey tourist trap . It's now €30 per person for a basic breakfast and generally crowded . Grab a coffee , mark it off the list, and keep moving.
Art Nouveau amateurs will be amazed. For a quick look, a slice of cheesecake it is the perfect place. Totally crowed by tourists it definitely has lost some of the original charm. Huge Gin Tonic .
Best years of this cafe are certainly behind. Nowadays it is just another tourists attraction , creme brûlée is quit good though.
The oldest,1921, cafe and delicious dessert which sample French toast . Warm welcome, friendly workers and boss. Prices are almost same with others,no most expensive .u can wait to find a place sometimes
The ambiance is lovely. The service is good. We had breakfast , the portion of omlette zingara was good, cappuccino not. Best to come here to have seni me drink like beer , espresso , tea
€5 for a filter coffee , but you’re not really paying for the coffee you’re paying for the architecture and the ambience of this historic 100 year old Art Nouveau cafe . There’s often a queue outside.
The cafe is pretty pricey but if you want to enjoy on a budget a cup of coffee & their amazing French toast is about €6! Loved it here it's so pretty
Always a queue, pretty expensive , worth popping in for a quick coffee and tart , absorb the historic venue and atmosphere and be on your way. 9/10.
That historic ambiance & chocolate cake though ???????????????? apple cinnamon cake was also yummy. But 6 euros for a very bad latte ???????? sooo, it’s ur budget; ur choice.
The 5€ Rabanada is well worth it! It's like a dessert French toast with custard on top. The interior of the cafe is also beautiful, making it a must see for those in Porto.
We had a wonderful time here, port , coffee , pastelle de natas superb. A must see if you want to see old Porto .We loved it
Excellent, a little bit expensive , but very good. Impossible to visit Porto without to know Magestic Café . I suggest the rabanada or scones with porto wine Tawny.
You should absolutely eat Rabanada ???? A bit expensive but the ambiance is so lovely❣️
A travel back in time. Try „Bombom“ Coffee & read about the history of this majestic place https://www.cafemajestic.com/en/Majestic-Cafe/History.aspx
The best vanilla shakes in the world for €5. I had the tuna sandwich which was quite delicious. Very pricey restaurant by Portuguese standards though. No Portuguese actually eat here.
Visit in morning hours..Pasta da Natal is even more delicious in a rather small no-name bakery shop .. smilar with coffee Tortini in BA.. good decoration and location .
You are paying for the ambiance and not the food so don't have to high of an expectation. You won't leave hungry but your taste buds probably won't be too excited:)
We did one drink at this place. The historic building is beautiful and the service is good. It is more expensive than other local cafes and restaurants in the neighbourhood.
It has nice design, you can try to imagine how it looked decades ago when people actually used it as café . Now it's more place for a photo. Okeyish quality.
Long lines , chock full of tourists . Go take a look at the architecture , then go and get your pasteis de nata at Monteigaria or Fabrica Da Nata a few blocks away
legendary place, a must-do on Porto trip. Try 20/30/40 years old Porto wine with dessert - you will enjoy every piece of it ❤️
If you're a typical tourist you'll enjoy this place. Otherwise move on.
Great experience, amazing service, fabulous ramanada - a must try even if you are not a big fan of French toast
Gorgeous place and good food but the prices are just too much. 6-7€ for a hot chocolate , 2,5€ for a pasteis de nata ... come on!
One of m favorite places in Porto, lovely interior & excellent service. I arrived quite late and this was the only place open and they were willing to accommodate me for late dinner .
One of my favourite places, amazing interior and excellent service. The 6th most beautiful in the world!
If you just want to try vintage &legend cafe in Porto you should come .But....Too pricey , I ordered 5€ cappuccino that not good as price / French toast is good /30€ for basic breakfast / super crowd
They match the cakes with wines , chocolate cake with a ruby porto was delicious!
I was disappointed right at tje entrance. The waiter chewed a gum so evidently and it is a thing I really dislike. Coffee was nothing special. The only majestic thing about this place are prices.
Beautiful restaurant , worth peering in the window but outrageously priced. One highlight: €23 for a cheese and tomato omelette .
The most majestically overpriced coffee in Porto...possibly in the world
The desserts and coffee was really nice and so was the ambience... The servers were super kind n friendly ... Must visit..
Nice casual place , great decoration but I had the feeling ther were in a hurry for me to pay and go rather than let me had a chill evening with coffee .
Super f*cking expensive breakfast for 30 eur p.p. is not worth ordering. Get a coffee and a francesinha instead, it's big enough for two. You are welcome. On the picture there is a half.
Really majestic. On a nice shopping street in the heart of Porto, fabulous interior design and tasty sweets )
Posh restaurant with local tastes. You deserve a treatment at the end of the day.
Great interior, for me to much tourists , although i am a tourist myself :-)
just beautiful and fancy , a must when visiting Porto
Emblematic place that you should visit. It's expensive , so just get a coffee or something like that (€3-5).
Lovely spot inside or outside with historic decor
Getting inside here feels like you're walking inside a monument . Take a break to look around while you're waiting to be served.
Classic place with great food! Try Francesinha sandwich and Rabanada for dessert !
Oldest cafe in Portugal est 1922! Their french toast is insanely delicious ????
The service and the food were spectacular. The place, nice, and the best part were the desserts !
Nice tea service, beautiful building, and happy servers. It seems to mainly cater to tourists , but still nice.
This historic cafe features a unique Art Deco style interior and is therefore quite the tourist trap
Everything is too pricey . "Bombom" coffee (the one with condensed milk ) was too sweet and not impressive at all :(
Great location and amazing setting. More suited for thea and desserts .
A bit expensive for eating lunch or dinner and not that many options. BUT it's perfect for desserts and coffee . Make sure to try the rabanadas , nothing really compares to it.
Very Starbucks like, maybe even better than! Delicious coffee and worth to pay a visit when you need to wait for Lello - Edward Roozeboom
Best pregos ever. If weather os good try the terrace upstairs (there is shade). - André Rodrigues
The new management it's amazing. Had a great meal and a nice gin tonic by the river. The employees are super nice and the view is wonderful #mustgo - Francisca Naia Velhinho
Well worth the entrance fee. Good selection of books and seeing the beautiful interior is amazing experience. - Victor Shchenkh
Nice shopping centre. The food court, although small, is quite cute - Alex Curiel
Just wow! Amazing olives, jams and fruits at great prices. Recommended. - foxX
