京都鉄道博物館 の屋上 にある展望台 …のような場所。東海道新幹線、東海道本線(JR京都線)、山陰本線(嵯峨野山陰線)が眼下にあるので、運が良ければドクター イエローなどの検測車や関東方面の甲種輸送を見ることも可能。
運が良ければ、黄色い新幹線「ドクター イエロー（新幹線電気軌道総合試験車）」越しの五重塔を撮影する事が出来ます。
