One of the best meals we enjoyed on our trip to OBX. Hush puppies , pulled pork , ribs , and flounder were outstanding. Fried chicken was fried well , but could have used some seasoning.
Fried chicken sandwich was delicious! So was Mac and cheese :) seated quickly and food came out fast!
The BBQ pork and chicken sandwiches are both good with coleslaw on top. Mac and cheese is good, too!
I really liked it there, really good service & the good is great. Small portions though.
Best hushpuppies you'll ever have. Go for the beef barbeque .

The pork BBQ , though NC style, isn't drowning in vinegar . Add the rib sauce!

Highly disappointed with the food... Food was cold and fried hush puppies tasted stale. Service was the only thing that was good

Very nice beach, clean, not too crowded or loud. Really high dune in the area I was at (Skimmer Arch access), so a lot of steps down to the beach here. - Kris F.
Nice little shopping and restaurant district near the Currituck Lighthouse and historic Whaleshead. Traffic leaving Corolla can be very heavy on the weekends. - Tyler Tomasino
