We loved the spicy tomato soup - filling and perfect for the winter. The eggs in the pastrami eggs do not have the best consistency, but the pastrami is cooked well .

1/2 and 1/2 is a winner breakfast . Scrambled eggs , balsamic mushrooms and pesto on sourdough ! Relaxed decor and atmosphere, staff were very friendly and coffee was excellent.

Coffee is consistently good, if not the very best in town . Great menu and counter food. I love the decor, an Auckland icon that's a go-to spot for meeting friends from out-of-town.

The French Toast is awesome with fried banana , dried apricots and other treats.

Very tasty pastrami omelette , chicken salad and brioche . Also, very nice taste of music !

Tasty brunch and great piccolo + chai

Adorable and clean , with an interesting Jewish-Mediterranean menu, but service can be quite slow. Order at the counter. Bagels are bread in disguise.

Fantastic serving sizes for breakfast dishes . And the best All Press coffee I've ever had.

This place is one of the classics! A little tight seating wise but none the less still rocking it on Ponsonby Rd.

Great if you want something beyond the fascination with Eggs Benedict.
