The Midwest's Largest and Best Drive-Thru Safari! Located in Port Clinton Ohio, only 15 minutes from Cedar Point!
267 S Lightner Rd Port Clinton , OH 43452 United States
Loved this place well worth the money go on Groupon for discount . The drive thru was so much fun
If you love your car, get a rental for the day! Fun way for kids to feed animals such as giraffes . There's also a walking part to the park .
It was a nice experience. However I think the name is a little misleading. There are way too many alpacas , lamas and fallow deer, I wished there was a little more variety in animals from Africa.
Nice walking area with iconic tables but the bathrooms are closed and they have pita-potties. (No changing table for those with small ones. )
Admission price isn't bad. The food is expensive & you aren't supposed to bring your own food . We went early in the season, & there weren't many people. messy inside & outside car. Great time!
The animals on the drive through portion come right up to the car and stick their heads in the window! Nice park .
Giraffe is our favorite attraction
The deer are super hungry! The bison was very friendly as were the alpacas .
Love, love, love this place. Great fun for everyone!
My favorite was the American Bison ... He slobbered all over me, I still laugh about it with my mom
If you have a zoo membership you get 50% off admission
Pull up close to the giraffe fence to feed the giraffes ! Same with the zebras too!
Bring your own carrots unless you like paying $5 a bag
Save some food for the giraffes and zebras at the end
Pick up some carrots ahead of time
Do not bring your own food in...they will confiscate it. USDA laws.
So many baby animals right now
Labor day weekend expect at least an hour in car to get in
Rip off. You have to pay for carrots to feed the animals. $5.00 a bag.
Remember: carrots look like fingers!
