It still has the best breakfast buffet so far in the past 10 yrs here in Mactan. The service us consistently good until this most recent visit.

Large selection of international and Asian dishes . Can be extremely busy in the morning for breakfast so come early if you can/want to avoid the crowd.

The breakfast buffet was wonderful. I esp liked the hash browns and the corned beef . Pineapple juice refreshing and sweetness just right. Pricey @$40 US.

Allowed me to take away while baby past out in the room and we don't want to have room service . Another great Shangri-La hospitality fulfilling the needs...!

I particularly enjoyed their pastries ! Pain au chocolate & sourdough bread !

Breakfast Asian selection at the noodle station, congee and egg station are good.

Try the hot native chocolate with some Filipino desserts for a perfect finish.

The Suman here is delicious. You can request to have the leaves unwrapped right at the station.

Avoid Dinner Buffet for 1700 php - it's not worth it. Also breakfast buffet before 9am on the weekend is prolly the only time you can enjoy your food. Crazy queues and screaming kids!

Don't miss the native offerings - danggit (dried fish ) and dried squid for breakfast !

Dessert is good here. Plus points for the friendly staff . Minus points for the rest of the food served in the buffet .. Hehehe..Not worth paying 1900 per pax! Go to jollibee instead haha

Selection is good. But not great. Like the coffee machine , instead of the (usually only) black coffee at some 5-stars hotel .

Smoked salmon and the caesar salad here is a blast.
