Small and cozy . Good location, sublime wines and the music its great!
There are some places you go where as soon as you set foot in the door you know you like them, caffe sant'ambrogio was one of these. It's small, dark and kind of alternative. Pay the extra for buffet .
Nothing special, but it is good if you want to escape from touristic zone. Locals come here for an aperitivo . I love in general all this zone around.

se ordinate lo spritz, occhio che usano l'acqua tonica al posto dell'acqua frizzante! ricordate la regola d'oro dello spritz: 1/3, 1/3 e 1/3!
E' un locale di un mio amico espertissimo di vini e quant'altro.... Assolutamente da consigliare!!!!?

If you have a family or just enjoy family atmosphere, this is a MUST GO in florence. I would put this on the top of the list for Pizza. - Greg Pappas
