One of my fave churches in Florence. The crypt downstairs is a hidden gem . Make sure to see the flamboyant cemetery hidden behind the church .

Dating from the 12th century is a beautiful example of Romanesque architecture . Watch out for the mosaics on the facade, and inside above the altar. The floor decorations are also worth a look.

Beautiful and not crowded church with a stunning view

If you've hiked all the way to Piazza de Michelangelo and you still have some energy left, head up the hill . But don't lose sleep over missing it either.

The access by car is possible from Via delle Porte Sante. At the entrance of the church there is a big step that you can overcome thanks to a mobile ramp (inform the monks before your arrival). Read more

Chiesa dal fascino incredibile che offre anche la migliore vista su Firenze che possiate avere.

Lunghissima salita... Ma ne vale ASSOLUTAMENTE la pena farla!
