Geothermal cooking and you can "follow your food" for certain menu items. Some exotic offerings I was not into (e.g., pony tenderloin) but I enjoyed a delicious vegetarian dinner .
Really good Icelandic food and reasonable prices. Try mama's meatballs , they're delicious. Good sausages too.

Echt gut. Wir hatten den Hähnchensalat und den Plockfischeintopf. Beides exzellent.

Staff is very friendly, room was clean and nice, although a bit “oldie”. Breakfast was good and swimming pool is of course heated and spacious. - John Recker
We went here with a guide, but you can also do it solo. The trails is marked all the way. It's an easy hike so everyone can do it. Beautiful scenery! Be respectful of the warning signs along the way! - Cathrine Johansen
