Nice-sized zoo with a good variety of animals. You could spend an hour or two or a whole day there. Be sure to check out the red panda !

The animals are great. I saw the penguins and flamingos first. I was surprised to see a white owl. Many viewing locations kids in strollers can see. There are many things to do inside the zoo , also.

They've made great improvements to their grounds the flowers are amazing. Don't miss the carousel and farmland train ...super cute and a great experience for everyone.

The Akron Zoo is located on 50 acres west of Akron. When you visit the Zoo you'll get nose-to-nose with more than 700 animals, including endangered penguins, lemurs, tigers, jaguars and much more.

Every exhibit is good but the Penguins and grizzly bears are a must see.

The animals are pretty active. The flower gardens are beautiful. The cost is reasonable. The staff are VERY friendly .

Parcourse! Busy-bodies like me can combine a day at the zoo with interval exercises like pull-ups, toe-touches and torso circles.

Great for the little ones! (Toddlers/Preschoolers) My 10 year old niece was bores senseless! Nonetheless! It's a great day out! Pack a lunch and enjoy the atmosphere!

Saturdays during January 2016 is the Penguinpalooza event which includes feeding them. Be warned- it requires separate tickets.
